I saw Hawkeye and Iron Man - the images were much sharper with richer colours and a white background. There were also no captions. I'd be interested in owning that set. Maybe these? The listing states 1979, by Wimpy Burgers UK. Very similar to art art from the Topps set: Subby1938

Kramerica
This thread rekindled my memories of these cards so while at the Con in San Diego I had to splurge and make a purchase. KirbyJack
My daughter has a bunch of stickers on her laptop. She works at a coffee shop, and is encouraged to have her computer with her while working, surrounded by hipsters. I couldn’t put a Sgt. Fury sticker on that machine fast enough! She loves it, and gets tons of comments. ADAMANTIUM and wormboy

Very nice! That box was sealed by Baseball Card Exchange, which does a lot to protect it, and is probably why it’s remained so nice after over 40 years on earth. I don’t believe the boxes originally came sealed in shrink wrap.

I thought it was the distributor of cards from back in the day, but it's the way of sealing & authenticating. wormboy

Do you have any shippers (outer boxes)? So there’s a one asterisk and two asterisk “Which way to the John”?

So there’s a one asterisk and two asterisk “Which way to the John”? Thanks!!! it took me 20 years to build it ... you never find a 100% complete 1* or 2* collection... and the variant stickers are unknown to most people. It's also hard to find stickers without dents or other problems. I bought the super rare sample set (22 stickers with tan back and no char names) 20 years ago...but after that I never saw a similar set appear again for sale. So my collection was built with EXTREME PATIENCE... Acetate stickers are a recent discovery made by my friend Joe Nocera. They are made of transparent/acetate material that looks 3dmensional. SGC has recently accepted to consider them a sample printing by Topps. Nobody seems to own a compete set....I own 23 different only. No I don't have any shippers. Yes "Which way to the John exists" in both 1* and 2** Best regards Federico wormboy, KirbyJack, BAT MAN and 2 others 4

I was just looking at the checklist uncut sheet images again and I realized it might be the checklist cards for the second test issue with the Topps 1975 / Marvel 1975 copyrights! I think there is a test commodity code of “T-47-3” or maybe “T-47-4” on the right side of the checklist side of the sheet! Better images would really be helpful or if you can confirm the copyright info and the code info. Thanks Federico batmiesta
