Some color loss along the spine, some creasing top right corner but generally good reflectivity on the cover except for what was mentioned. Back cover is consistent with the grade. Page quality cream-off white. Back cover Reveal hidden contents

Unstoppablejayd
On 4/5/2018 at 7:00 PM, Jim Corrigan said: Tales of Suspense 58 VG- $85 1st Captain America in TOS, 2nd Kraven appearance The book is flat with no major creasing some minor wear on the corners but no major blunting. There's a date stamp above Iron Man in marker and some minor ink transfer under "OF" in "TALES OF SUSPENSE". The spine is tight with no loose pages. The pages are complete and mostly cream to off-white. The book has two main issues. There is a 1/2" triangle missing out of the top corner of the back cover which is evident in the back cover scan and there's a not-to-dark moisture stain at the bottom of the book near the spine. Even so, it presents very well from the front. Both the missing corner from the cover and the stain are allowed in a G/VG and I feel like the attractiveness of the book overall allows a bump to VG-. Tales of Suspense 59 Fn $110 Iron Man/Captain America double feature begins A nice looking book. It has a small tear on the top of the front cover near the left corner, some very slight raggedness along the top of the back and a bit of a top-over-bottom overhang. There's a fleur-de-lis stamped on the back in the upper corner which is the mark of a long-time local comic shop owner who passed away two years ago. He would mark books with the fleur-de-lis when he wanted to sell them in his discount bin. The rest of the book is consistent with a higher grade. Pages are complete with no coupons missing or tears. Tales of Suspense 60 G/VG $30 2nd appearance Hawkeye Spine roll with 1/4" overhang, top over bottom. Nothing missing from the cover but well loved. Pages attached and complete but four of the pages have an inch or so stain in the margin. Tales of Suspense 61 Fn- $36 Mandarin appearance I think this book is a very solid Fn but I nicked off a half grade because there's some tanning around the edges on the insides of the covers. The paper quality is cream to off-white and supple, and complete. Tales of Suspense 63 VG $45 1st Silver Age Origin Captain America Tales of Suspense 69 G $5 with any other book 1st Appearance Titanium Man Back covers: Reveal hidden contents Take TOS
