They really have done a fantastic job making this a really engaging story. And seeing a different point of view on the traditional Karate Kid story.

That ending was fantastic! There is so much follow-up here without sacrificing the Season One story by hiding too many details. I really liked this show.

I enjoyed the first few episodes but it just got kind of silly/corny. I didn't connect with any characters except Johnny.

I couldn't find myself routing for anyone in the finals. I'll watch the next season though. It was a fun retro trip.

So I did the 30 day free trial thing and watched the remaining episodes, my take aways are as follows;

Johnny is by far my favorite character, and to me at least seems relatable.

Daniel is a person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed nozzle.  

I'm sorry that Migaul is "turning to the dark side".  

Robbie is just the same as Daniel, a person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed nozzle.  

Didn't see that surprise cameo at the end coming.

If this gets a second season I will for sure watch it.  I really want to see where Johnny's journey takes him next.

And I like how Johnny in the end didn't care for how his students were hyped up on being number one above all other matters. Made me like him even more.
