Is there a CGC App that can be used to check barcodes on comics? I'm considering making some expensive purchases, and I'd like to be able to check authenticity on the spot.

You can do a certification lookup right from our homepage:

https://www.cgccomics.com/

Just scroll down to "Verify CGC Certification" next to the Walking Dead #1. Type in the Certification number, off the book in question, into the search bar and click "Verify"

It will pull up the book's details, let you know if grader notes are available, and then accesses the CGC census to see how many we have graded and at what grades. To access that information, just click on the highlighted number next to "Total Graded At:"
