Is there customs/duty/tax etc. on a CGC comic sent from UK to US for onward sale via a third party like Comic Connect?

Hi guys. I'm in the UK and am planning to sell a couple of CGC'd books within the US through a third party - probably via Comic Connect.

Does anyone know if I have to pay customs/tax/duty on them? At this point, of course, they're not a sold item. Has anyone bought books from the UK who can advise me? I don't fancy sending $2,800 worth of books to the US and then getting stung by duty.

Tried US Customs and got a loooonnnggg recorded message that didn't help much.

It’s fine to ask here, but it’s probably better to contact the company directly to get the official answer
