This was pretty much known, although not to the point where it actually was Cates story. He left writing the Infinity Siblings. I assume someone else took over because it comes out soon.

Cates’s story took on “a strikingly similar plot” to his own plot for the graphic novels (he declines to get into details about what he means for fear of spoilers),

What spoilers though? Must be the next arc.
