Hm - wonder what kind of injury?
What was Harrison Ford's injury history on the 2 Indy projects and also his last Star Wars? Seems like all three of HF's injuries shut down production for several months?

I've checked a few articles and it sounds like she has been dealing with the injury for a while now. So it finally must have gotten worse.

Lucia von Bardas was a Latverian politician who served as the Prime Minister for Dr. Victor von Doom, the Monarch and Supreme Leader for the Kingdom of Latveria. She dealt with the day to day political maters and dealings within the European nation.

Cool, maybe that leads to Dr. Doom introduction which combined with Sub-Mariner introduction equals a "Super-Villain" team up!!

I've observed and noted that the Phase Four movies are/will be groupings of versions or types of singular characters. We already got Black Widow, Loki, and Eternals. Even FWS featured an appearance of different versions of Captain America. Coming soon, it seems like No Way Home will be all the Spider-Mans in one film. Multiverse of Madness is more and more seeming like a team-up of Marvel's wizards like Strange, Scarlet Witch, Jericho Drumm, and Clea. The Marvels will be the Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel characters. And it looks like Wakanda Forever will be a face-off of Marvel's kingdoms: Wakanda, Atlantis, and Latveria.

The MCU can do another slow-burn intro (like Thanos) with Doom if they start introducing some Latverian diplomats/players.

One of the things that intrigues me is if the MCU will introduce a power structure of Atlantis, Wakanda, and Latveria.
That was one of the coolest things about the revamped BPanther comic series. 3 powerful countries with a lot of intrigue, political games & high stakes.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Letitia Wright's injuries were more extensive than initially believed and it is official that the sequel will postpone production until January. previous reports indicated that filming had been stopped because of her injury, but there is now clarification that the actress had sustained a shoulder fracture and a concussion. Deadline reported on the production hiatus that will stretch until January of 2022. A lot was made of her injuries and how they will affect filming going forward. The ongoing pandemic and other conflicts have led to some shifts in the release calendar for Marvel Studios. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness got moved around, as did Thor: Love and Thunder. But, the one project surrounded by a lot of conversation was the Black Panther sequel. It's no secret that Chadwick Boseman's death hangs unspoken over the entire movie. Marvel producer Nate Moore spoke to Comicbook.com's Phase Zero about building on that legacy.

"I think this movie has different sort of pressure on it, obviously, with the loss of Chadwick, which was unexpected and unprecedented in a way narratively, to figure out how to deal with," Moore revealed. "So beyond, 'Hey, we want to make a big, fun time,' and people of the first movie, it's how do we sort of do right by his legacy and tell a story that isn't exploitative, which we would never, ever do, but builds on the things that he loved about the property and builds on the things that he brought to the property in a way that is enjoyable, feels real, feels earned, feels organic. Because I think we're going to see the movie in two lenses, pure entertainment, but also cathartic. And we have to be conscious of both of those lenses as we're making it."

That's cool. I haven't read the new series but would be interested in this type of storyline. Didn't realize how intertwined Atlantis, Wakanda and Latveria are.

According to Bleeding Cool, Namor's rumored MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is viewed by Marvel Studios as "akin to Black Panther's appearance in [Captain America:] Civil War" in regards to its aspirations to launch "an upcoming franchise."

"I am told that Marvel Studios consider Namor's appearance in Black Panther 2 to be akin to Black Panther's appearance in Civil War to set up an upcoming franchise."

The report continues by sharing that Black Panther 2 will focus on "Namor The Sub-Mariner, his cousin Namora and Atlantean warlord Attuma" as the underwater kingdom wages war with Wakanda.

"Much of the reported gossip elsewhere of large has concerned the role of Namor and Atlantis. That there is a war between Wakanda and Atlantis. But Bleeding Cool has heard that there will be a focus in the movies on the characters of Namor The Sub-Mariner, his cousin Namora and Atlantean warlord Attuma."

Tenoch Huerta, one of the new actors reportedly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, shared a new image that fuels the speculation he's playing Namor in the Marvel sequel. Production on the Black Panther sequel resumed in January following set injuries suffered by Letitia Wright. More news has steadily trickled out ever since, including new details from the Puerto Rico set. Even though Huerta's role is currently unknown, many have speculated he is playing Namor the Sub-Mariner, who has long been rumored to be the film's main antagonist. A new photo shared by Huerta places him in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which is where Black Panther 2 is currently filming.

One day ago Huerta shared a photo on his Instagram account of a Benito Juarez statue in Puerto Rico. "Lo que uno se encuentra en el viejo San Juan," Huerta captioned his photo, which translates to, "What one finds in old San Juan." A recent report from The Cosmic Circus places Black Panther: Wakanda Forever filming at a closed-down Ritz Carlton hotel that's also in Puerto Rico. While Marvel Studios hasn't confirmed that Tenoch Huerta is a part of the film's cast, it may not be a coincidence he's on the same island that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is reportedly filming at.

The wait for more Wakanda won't be forever. Disney CEO Bob Chapek confirmed that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the anticipated sequel to the 2018 Marvel Studios blockbuster, will release in theaters this year as scheduled. Following Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange 2's trips through a multiverse of madness, as well as the Disney+ series Moon Knight, the Kevin Feige-led studio will soon turn its third eye towards summer releases Ms. Marvel (on Disney+ June 8) and Thor: Love and Thunder (in theaters July 8) before bringing Black Panther 2 to audiences on November 11.

"Looking ahead, our studios will continue to deliver high-quality content at scale with an exciting array of series and films coming to all of our distribution channels," Chapek told investors during Disney's earnings call. "In fact, our slate for the remainder of this year is incredibly strong with titles like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ms. Marvel, Lightyear, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and the long-anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water."
