gold key turok cover price question

6 posts in this topic

Does anyone know why my Turok #81 has a 20 cent cover price, but #82 is 15 cents?

The #81 is November 1972, but the #82 does not give a month, just 1972.

Did Gold Key raise its prices an then change its mind?

Do I have a rare cover price variant that is worth billions (of Turkish lira)?

Speaking of Turoks, has anyone noticed that prices have exploded lately? In the last Heritage Signature auction, a 9.4 Turok #3 went for about double what it went for a couple of years ago. The 9.6 Turok #12 went for $1320, which is a 8.25X mulitple to Guide, and currently a 9.4 Turok #12 on eBay is already at $510 with more than a day to go.
