Squad008
UPDATE GRADES IN - Picture posted in separate comment in case anyone sees this and wants to hone their grading skills The cover and all centerfolds are firmly attached at both staples. 1/4' tear top of back cover. Top middle left there is a white mark, it is a stain. Top middle front cover there is a waviness from moisture, really not much of a liquid stain or any musty smell to the book, I'm assuming it was exposed to humidity for a period of time when stored. There is a small pink/reddish spec in front of robins foot. I can't tell if that was the way the book was printed or if there was color touch done at some point. I don't see any bleed through on the front interior cover and doesn't make sense they wouldn't color touch the rest of the cover/back cover. I'm assuming there is no resto but will have it checked if I get it graded. Thanks in advance, lots of pics and a neat book. I had a number in mind when purchased with potential to improve with a press/clean. Interested to see how others would grade this. Gnasher
I'm 3.5/4.0 with this, erring more towards the 3,5. The "red spot" I think is a production flaw. The nearest match to that colour on the cover is Mr. Z's gloves, so maybe a colour splash from that, but purely a guess on my part. Good luck with the grading. etc. Edited July 24, 2018 by Gnasher The Lions Den

Yeah I saw your post was actually waiting for your results, congrats it's a monster book, wish I had found mine in my collection as well! Looking at graded copies, the 3.5-4.5 range all seem to have long creasing or staining. I did see a 3.0 with a really nice cover though, who knows maybe it was an interior issue on that 3.0. Dino-Mutt
It could easily be a 4.5, CGC has their own system, and I guess that is the point of a 3rd party, but as I look over the books i have sold over the years on ebay, I think I have been to hard on my own stuff. mine is coming back a 3.

Well worth it to me to eat the grading costs so I could read it first! Also thought it had a chance to get graded higher, but being able to actually hold and read this book first brings out the kid in me, something that sometimes gets lost when buying a book preslabbed. TC33
3.5 for me, I was on the fence between 3.5/4.0, but the rust at centerfold staples is pretty bad.
