Unless you did the walkthrough service, you have plenty of time for customer service to notify the graders or quality control before it gets finalized.  Even with the walk through service, they were able to accomadate my request before book was mailed out

I don't expect my books to be back before summer, so I'll have plenty of time to panic.

Glad to hear customer service can notify the graders, I thought I missed my chance by sending out the comics too soon.

I was checking the Census and they now mention Belgian and French editions exist, was this your request?

CGC responded. I should contact them back when I get confirmation they received my submission in their facility. Customer service +1

In other news; I found myself a good looking copy of 'La Flûte à Six Schtroumpfs' EO 1960.

I didn't make the request but I did notice the change in my submission form from French to Belgian/French about 2 weeks ago.  maybe cgc changed the classification after reading this thread (shrug)

I contacted them about 4-5 weeks ago with all the info I had on the various printings, so maybe they actually took notice of it :foryou:

Just won some spirou 1071 and 1072 on eBay and the seller didn’t mention that they were missing the value stamp on the back of the cover.  Never thought much of it until I checked for completeness.  Also some copies have the value stamp while others don’t.  These are the French version.  I’ll look at them closer tonight to compare the different copies that I have(French vs Belgium; value stamp vs no value stamp)

Today I found a Spirou 1071 & 1072 in the mail, Belgian version. They both look great, maybe better than the ones I've already sent to CGC.

Got so excited I already submitted and packed them for grading. I've added Spirou 720, I'm curious if they'll label it as Marsupilami's first appearance.

Adding a request this time.

Have some more raw(not in pics) that I will be sending in for grading.    As you can see, the recent batch as the label noting that there's 2 versions, one French the other Belgian but it doesn't distinguish which one is within the slab(cover gives it away)

Great to see the new note, but it feels like a missed chance, good thing it's easy to spot the difference.
That's an amazing collection you got there Spiderturtle!(worship) I suppose you own a specially built Spiroom?

To the uninitiated, what's the giveaway on the cover to distinguish between French and Belgian editions?
