Hmm, I won 12 books, and shipping options for 11-22 books are $55 ground insured, $150 express insured, and $180 overnight insured. Is it relative to the value of the books? In the previous auction very little appealed to me, this one I bid on over 30 books. Although I hear some are saying there were deals on some SA/BA books, I saw strong prices on everything (GA) I wanted. Would love to see others' wins on GA so I can confirm further bidding would have been futile. My friend Michael says that GA across the board remains high, especially for important books, and that SA and BA are settling down across the board. I can vouch for that to some extent -- I won the following book in this CL auction for a lot less than current GPA, and am delighted to add something from the Thomas Drew (djpinkpanther) estate into my collection of SA keys to honor him. NP_Gresham Posted June 8, 2023 Share Posted June 8, 2023 Sold a few books. The TTA #1 did fantastic, Conan Annual #1 9.6, way under last sale but did fine considering I got it to my door at $60. ST #72 was a beat-down but it was a throw away, since the other 2 books turned a nice profit. Not lucrative selling, but clearly I am happy.
