BTS photo of Shazam!! set as filming wraps up by the end of the month.  Kudos to the studio Set Designers and Builders for creating an exacting replica of the Acropolis Museum.  Boy howdy, if the other movie sets look half as good as this, Shazam!! is gonna be an amazing film.

After recently posting on Instagram that filming for Shazam! Fury of the Gods was nearly complete, Sandberg has now taken to Twitter to give fans a further update. In response to a tweet that stated that the sequel had officially wrapped, the director posted a photo of himself still on set. Sandberg clarified that while a handful of the actors had already wrapped, filming was still underway but that they were "close to being done."

Earlier today, Shazam! Fury of the Gods director David F. Sandberg took to Twitter to debunk a rumor that the movie had wrapped filming. While the movie is "almost to the finish line," the DC sequel has not quite finished its production. It appears the initial confusion about the production came from an Instagram post from Asher Angel, who wrapped his part as Billy Batson earlier this week. The young actor shared a photo with his superhero counterpart, Zachary Levi, and announced that he has completed his role in the film.
