Popular Post Mucheee1
I'm still working on my goals, which include: Tales of Suspense 1-99 (64% complete) Tales to Astonish 1-101 (78% complete) Strange Tales 1-168 (71% complete) Journey into Mystery 1-125 (48% complete) ASM 1-38 (81% complete) FF 1-88 (43% complete) I have been working on these titles since the early 1990's. There are a few other smaller goals I am currently working on (like the Kirby Thors), but these are the main ones. I may never finish these in my lifetime, but the challenge of the hunt is great fun. I'm sure I would be further along in these runs, but I'm probably too picky with getting decent grades, especially the older Atlas books. My wife keeps encouraging me to get them in what ever grade I can find them, and it will likely come down to that if I ever want to complete them. silverseeker, oakman29, JoshuaM and 6 others

Popular Post Gardner Broome
I recently finished my Justice League of America run and my Adventure Comics Legion run (300-380) that I've only been working on for 45 years😊I only collect nice, clean copies, which made it a more difficult challenge. I've also been working for years on a complete set of standard size Marvel Bronze Age books in VF or higher covering the period from January 1970 to December 1979. There are 4,298 books and I'm down to needing just 22, so I'm 99.5% done. Just one is a major key--Marvel Spotlight #5. The others are romance and humor comics from the early 1970s that are very difficult to find in nice shape. I'm working on the Silver Age Marvels too but not as picky about grade. I have long runs of all of them but still need most of major first appearances so I don't expect I'll ever finish those as they only get more expensive each year. silverseeker, speedcake, Ken Aldred and 7 others

TheCollector999
I set a goal 6 months ago of getting GSXM1, X-Men 94, and X-Men 101. I acheived that but got them all in slabs at 6.0. Now I want a high grade for each and a lower grade for each. GSXM1 might be out of reach for me. That book is white hot right now. 101 has cooled down even before the next Phoenix movie. Might be a good tme for that. ADAMANTIUM, Ken Aldred, MGsimba77 and 1 other

Good Luck & Happy Hunting! -bc I was inspired by your awesome pre hero collection to pursue the Atlas pre hero runs. No where near your collection, but I have met some minor milestones, first the pre hero run of AA/Amazing adult fantasy 1-14, then a year or so ago the Strange tales 1-100 run. Not yet at my collecting goal, but hit a few milestones along the journey oakman29, bc and Mucheee1
NP_Gresham
My other Collecting goals are largely stalled and likely going to remain so for quite some time. Looking to complete: ASM: AF #15 then 1-700 Need the big 2 which just keep climbing faster than my savings full 30 cent variants set : The last 2 are incredibly tough TGK 129 and KC 208 full 35 cent variant set. Need all the tough books here, not likely to complete this one ever. JoshuaM
Popular Post kaculler
I've completed a number of collecting goals over the years - completing my Richie Rich run around 15 years ago was one. There have been a lot of others with the completion of various titles over the years. Several of my long term goals have seen a lot of progress over the past 5-10 years, though are still a ways from completion. 1) A complete set of comics featuring the main Archie cast of characters. I only need 47 more issues, but I don't expect to actually complete this set since most of the issues that I need are Peps below #60 or Archies below #10. This one is pretty much stalled with only the occasional purchase. I have a friend who is much closer than me and he has almost all of the early issues. 2) A complete set of Harvey Comics featuring Casper, Wendy, Hot Stuff, Spooky, Lotta, Dot, Audrey, Baby Huey and Sad Sack. I've got around 250 issues to go, but this one is doable. 3) A complete set of Dell's Four Color Series II. I've got around 220 issues to go and this one should be doable, but some of those early issues will be tough to find in decent shape at a decent price. Popular Post aszumilo
I finished Iron Man #1-332 last year. Now working on the ToS #39-99 run. Need 37 books (and a lot of money for the early ones). Also working on DD #1-100, Avengers #1-100, Captain Marvel (should finish this one soon), FF #1-100 (although, probably never finish this one, unless I hit the lottery), and starting Conan #1-275. Popular Post MR SigS
My completed goals are: AF15, ASM 1-375 (don't care for the title after that) Avengers 1-300 Kirby/Royer Original Art My Work In Progress: JIM/Thor 83-450 Making progress, but 83 will be difficult. Fantastic Four 1-400 I have most of the tough ones out of the way except #5 Captain America 100-200 bc, Ken Aldred, JoshuaM and 5 others
Popular Post Jking3437
I finished off my Batman silver age villain 1st app run, I was happy with that. Only took me 3 years to do so, I’m now working on Batman adventures 1-36 with annuals, 90% done that. After that working in flash 105-150 Edited May 1, 2019 by Jking3437 Ira K, Ken Aldred, Spidey 62 and 6 others
Ken Aldred
Getting every EC Library hardcover slipcased set took over 2 decades, with my first, Weird Science, in 1981, and my last, the Picto-Fiction set, in the mid 2000s. Popular Post BladeTX
I did it! With this book Walking Dead #79, I have completed #1 to 191 with most regular issue variants (no convention editions, there are like 100 of those) plus all 60 of the 15th Anniversary Variants (3 magazine holders on the top right), not going after the five 1:100 copies. First 27 are all CGC 9.8 Signature Series and #28 onward are NM/NM+ raw books. Took a while for a good NM copy of #79 to show up on eBay. It was an 18 month project. Now for my big goal, 1-50 all CGC 9.8 Signature Series, which will require new signatures so expect that to take a while. GeneticNinja
The major end goal is my final comic room. It's a long term work in progress. Continual delays with stuff like the Prime 1 Studio Snake Eyes statue. But a big goal when I was younger was getting Amazing Spider-Man #122. But I still need an original Spider-Man page. I want a page with all of my favorite heroes.
