The downfall of man:

Napoleon Dynamite

I didn't get it on the first viewing either. Took me till the second time round to get it, then I loved it. Same with the gf and friend I watched it with both times. Maybe a second viewing would do it for you, although maybe the film has had its day by now.

I watched Cloud Atlas earlier in the week, and ended up thinking it was total bollocks. The RT reviews claim that it’s complex and deserving of several views to fully understand it . Who’s right?

I enjoy Cloud Atlas quite alot and re-watch it once in a while. It's got good ideas, some cool sequences, and while I'd agree it didn't quit work when all put together, there's enough there to still be entertaining and thought provoking :fear:

Thanks.  That’s what I was after.  Whether it was worth investing in watching it again to get more fully what was going on, as it’s switching back and forth all over the place between plots, characters and time periods. Complex, or just confused.

No you're thinking of the lair of the white worm

Sounds like the perfect porn film for the poorly endowed.

Plan 9 From Outer Space (1957).  Not campy, just awful.  :preach:

Bad, incompetent, a ludicrous story, appalling dialogue, but somehow it’s very entertaining.

Very different to the absolutely brain-numbing tedium of Manos.

WONDER WOMAN 1984 was painful to watch - like having teeth pulled without the gas.  50 minutes into it - I had a knee-jerk reaction to save my brain cells and turn it off.  Since the 1st one with Gal was wonderful and remains one of the best hero movies IMO - I had my expectations quite high for the next movie of hers.  WW84 remains an insulting piece of trash - I blame it on the -script and plot, which was written as if in a coma. my 2-cents. :preach:
