Well, another C2E2 has passed for me. While I didn’t get a particular couple of pieces I was hoping for, I was able to add some new Jose Gonzalez Vampirella pages to my collection. Thought you might like seeing them here.

These story pages would have been my preference to the ones I did get  Maybe at some point I’ll make it work

I realize there is glare on the price of the splash I didn’t get. The asking price was $12k, which is in the territory of cover pricing. He wasn’t too interested in selling it.

Since I was posting this one up in the OA section for Halloween, thought I would put it here as well for those who hadn’t seen it. I still haven’t gotten around to getting it framed yet. Enric painted this piece last year for Vampirella’s 50th anniversary, and it’s entitled “Nightwings”. While Sanjulian was perhaps the more prolific horror painter at Warren overall, it’s Enric for me when it comes to this gal. Happy Halloween everyone.
