I prefer it when a low grade book has the major defects in an unobtrusive spot rather than an accumulation of small defects all over it. The cover on that 4.0 looks nice and who cares about the corner of the daisy add if it was out of the front it would be a big deal. I saw a Tec 31 on ebay CGC .5 with a 3 to 4 ish front cover and no back cover. It went for over $1500. As long as the cover is nice let the nastiness see the back.

I've got one, in a considerably lower grade than those two. Definitely one of the rarest fifties Detectives.

For some reason I find this book hard to find as I have yet to purchase one. That is a nice grade copy thumbsup2.gif

 

That's one of my favorites too. There are a handful of really classic Batman/Detective space covers from the 1950s that just rock.

 

Harley seems to have the Tec 208 fairly often.
