So thanks to @This is Who We Are who tipped me off to THIS ONE, I went with it instead.  It was like $33 for the book and $44 for shipping from the UK (lol), and I hope it survives the international shipping journey, but for $77 landed, it suits both my budget and my need.

So that completes my EERIE run, I just bought the Vampirellas, and I have like 7 more books to find to complete the CREEPY run--4 of which are sitting with a single seller right now.  They're a little pricey, but that seller has offered me 20% off before, so I might end up pulling the trigger there.  2 more are sitting with another seller, but I don't really like him that much and I think he regularly overprices...  but hey, it's worth a few bucks just to complete the run.

I might get this all wrapped up by my birthday Thursday after all...

I'll wait patiently by the door until it gets here...  After having a couple of other books frighteningly delayed during the EERIE search (and reading the "What's Your Complaint About CGC" threads), I understand that a book in shipment is really no book at all.

I've had my Eerie # 23 for many years now. Just wanted a copy because it is my favorite Frank Frazetta artwork. In the mid 90's the great one showed up unexpectedly at San Diego Comic Con. He was walking around with Doc Dave and I had the chance to tell him how much I appreciated his artwork. He asked me which was my favorite and of course I named the Egyptian Queen. He just smiled. A moment I will never forget. 

This is a fun club and a fun thread. Thanks @Randall Dowling

It's official...  arrived today!  She ain't pretty, but she'll do for my Po'Boy EERIE collection--which is now complete (other than #1 of course), if not entirely "finished" (I'd still like to replace a handful of the lower-grade issues).

Heh, yeah, I remember your "obstructed view" seating.  :)

Mine has a lot of surface wear (and that ink mark in the logo) and a lot of spine stress, but really just one major corner crease on the front and a smaller one on the back, and the spine itself is in good shape--no splits or tears.  The edges are all pretty straight and complete, no pieces out or tears, and the corners are blunted, but not really crunched or anything, and the interior is in really good shape--whiter pages than most I've seen.

So I'm fairly happy with the purchase for the price, even with the exorbitant overseas shipping.  After seeing some of the recent eeBay sales, getting into the Club for $77 shipped is a win in my book.

In case anyone is still on the outside peering through the glass, there's a ticket to the EERIE #23 Club in reasonable condition (better than mine above) currently up for auction on daBay, ending tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon; currently under $60/$5 shipping.
