Nice when you buy far enough in advance haha. Most I ever spent was about $19K on an incomplete Tec 27. But I made money on it :). So was a deal. One of the challenges I've always had as a collector is that I hate nasty miswraps, even on pedigreed copies . I realize they're not considered a flaw by CGC, but they offend my eye. You know I always thought the rarity was mainly in the 20-100 issue range, but I'm starting to realize issue 101 to what, like 120ish are also pretty rare. Case in point, your newly anointed 8.0. Yeah I mean it’s certainly a nutty sale. I can understand questioning it, but have to imagine it’s legit. Just don’t know why someone would get shady with that particular book, but who knows lol. So more likely they are in people’s long term collections, but you never know. Would certainly be interesting to see a comparable copy hit an auction.
