I know it's not superhero, but I am big Tim Truman fan and a big Grateful Dead fan. I have always wanted one of these and have not seen them on the con floors. I emailed Mr. Truman and asked about his original comic art that he does for the GD almanac every quater and if he sells any. He had the one he did for the last almanac and agreed to sell it to me. It was done for the bands 40th anniversary and is the song "Alligator" which was the first Robert Hunter (GD's lyricist) lyric used by the band. It is pen, ink and full color (water color?) and is in two pieces that go side by side. I can't wait to get this in and framed! He was great to deal with as well as a great artist thumbsup2.gif

Nice! I used to get the Grateful Dead Almanac a few years back when I was in college. I remember those full page (almost poster sized) comics that came with it. I had the one for Terrapin Station hanging over my bed sophomore year. cloud9.gif

That's a sweet piece. I've been a Truman fan since he did work for TSR back in the early 80's. Great stuff.
