Interesting. If AT&T/WB is smart, they can use this as a launching pad for a number of streaming spin-off series on HBO Max.

This is why I am interested in seeing what Disney/Lucas has planned for the High Republic. You can use the comics, books, and the animated and live action shows on the streaming services to all set up bigger event movies. That way you get the recurring revenue stream from the streaming service (cake) and build up for blockbuster movies (cherry on top).

The Justice League screenplay is by Chris Terrio, story by Chris Terrio & Zack Snyder, based on characters from DC, Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film’s producers are Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, with executive producers Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Jim Rowe, Ben Affleck, Wesley Coller, Curtis Kanemoto, and Chris Terrio.

I agree and if it’s true that only a quarter of the film is actually his, then I have to expect a completely new experience. 

By the way, the news made it to my Carrot weather app.
