I’ve included pictures of my baby blue Namor and to give it scale included a picture with my rare Canadian Exclusive Thor MARX in silver .

Don’t want to side track this thread away from Subby, but I’m a fan of MMMS and Marvelmania memorabilia however being in UK it’s extremely rare and I have no first hand knowledge of it; my understanding was the silver Marx set was the 1970 re-issue for Marvelmania fan club - is there another silver set/thor?

Subby figure is super cool.

He appears on cover of FF annual 1 with red, also on FF 27 first Dr Strange X over on cover . That’s all I can think of …

Maybe we should start a Subby Red Pants Club thread - My FF 6 is with CGC now but think I have all the rest :grin:

Not sure if this oddity counts;

i'm not sure, either, but it kinda fits into my "every s.a. spidey appearance" box[es] as well.  so i grabbed one!   thanks for the heads-up; had never been aware of it before.

I've always had vague memories of having a Submariner " soldier" that I played with as a kid. I never put much thought into it and figured it was some other figure that I just used as Namor, thanks to my imagination. I know I had a Britons Confederate soldier I used to pretend was Captain America so it could have been any figure or soldier from the early to mid 1960s. My Fathers brother lived in Brazil for several years in the 1960s so now I'm wondering if he might have sent some of the figures up as Christmas presents. They are long long gone, with only vague memories remaining, as I said, but this thread has brought them back to the surface and it was fun reisiting them.

Not as rare as the Marx figure shown previous by @Subby1938 but here’s a Sub-mariner figure by Brazilian (I believe) company Gulliver;

I also have this figure , there were variations some solid plastic colours like yours others like the version I have was painted . Very cool and stamped Gulliver on the base . These can also be htf in all colour combos they offered which I don’t know off hand but there were many diff plastic shades offered

I understand the painted coloured versions were sold in blister packs of two characters and are much rarer than the solid one colour ones. The painting looks really well done.
