For those looking to acquire complete sets of the classic SF pulps, Famous Fantastic Mysteries and Fantastic Novels, in one fell swoop, look no further than the Saturday night (May 7, 2022) auction at this year's Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention (May 6-8, 2022 at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center).  Lot 128.1 will be a complete set of all 81 issues of FFM, while Lot 128.2 will be a complete set of all 25 issues of Fantastic Novels.

I've been looking a long time to find a killer high-grade copy of the amazing stories Bedsheet "The War of the Worlds" from 1927!

I picked this up at the Windy City pulp and paper show auction on Friday night as well as a very nice copy of a classic covered  Burroughs  bedsheet, as well from 1927.

I may have posted this book in one of the related threads, but it's worth another look and has a cover by Earl Bergey. It's the November 1947 issue. A check on the ISFDB site shows that the Man in the Iron cap was not reprinted.

Classic Robot & Babe cover and a Lovecraft reprint.  I see this one having an awful lot of room to grow with the current surge of interest in pulps.

I think that's why i have been seeking so many out. With CGC still planning to slab pulps in the near future, I think we are in a moment before the 'boom'. Sure there are many already in the stratosphere, decided by the faithful who have kept the market alive , there are many sleepers in my opinion with killer cover content -something comic collectors appreciate, and classic stories and authors (though unlike comics which i read, i am strictly a pulp collector for the cover art, which i absolutely love).
