There are quite a few threads devoted in one respect or another to Alex Schomburg or the pseudonym Xela he employed for his post-war airbrushed comic work, but virtually none cover the artist's entire repertoire of art from pulps and comics to book covers and digests, also paying homage to his paintings and interior art.  To describe this paragon of golden age illustration as prolific would indeed be a gross understatement.  Hopefully, this thread will remedy any oversight and, if not, at least provide another thread for appreciating his amazing talent.  I'll start the thread off by posting six WWII vintage comic covers from four different GA publishers (Timely, Standard/Nedor, Family/Harvey and Holyoke/Continental) who benefited from Alex's gift at locking wandering eyes onto their comics in a sea of competing periodicals...







This doesn't even scratch the surface!
