Hey everyone, shipping prices are inflated compared to using USPS on your own (insurance included in that calculation)

Will CGC allow you to ship yourself?

Do you mean to ship to them? The shipping price they have at checkout is the price to ship it back to you. For that, I’ve been going with Fedex as it seems to be the cheapest option through them. 
 

As for shipping to them, yes you can just ship yourself through USPS. Just sent in 70+ cards for $10 with USPS.

Yes, I was referring to return shipping. $35 to ship back 50 cards? (Yes I'm in the US).

I understand they get a bit heavy once graded, just seems like a lot to me...

Our return shipping rates are a bit higher because of our high-quality packaging in addition to the packages being fully insured for the declared value. You can utilize your own FedEx or UPS accounts if you'd like. To do so, please contact customer service and they can help you out.
