Are scary- clown covers a genre?  If that is the case then one may not be enough for me.  I wonder how many Circus Boy's they made though?  This copy belongs to Sagii.  If you like Centaur's, you should check out his collection.

Yes, a cool subset for sure. I have many of them. Other than maybe the Joker, clowns have never scared me. Look at Mickey Dolenze there. Does he look scared? Creepy for sure...

The only Archie I own is this one.  When I was kid looking in an Overstreet price guide at Betty and Veronica's, I noticed a big price increase for this issue.  Betty and Veronica both sell their souls to Satan.  When I read the description, I instantly wanted a copy.  It was such a let down when I bought and read it as an adult though.

I think the point of this topic is to show where you purchased only one book to represent an entire genre in your collection.  You're describing owning many books for the same genre.  If you've done the topic description, there won't be any choice of "which book".  There'll only be one.

Guess I misunderstood the rules...again...so I don't know if I can even qualify.  I collect too many genre's...but, if Cow families are a genre, then this is my one and done...:insane:

I also love that one. It took me a while to find the right copy for the right price but I finally landed it about a year ago. The big shark (or maybe a whale) and the beautiful blue/green background is what attracted me to it.

I too, “accumulate” shark covers and have a lot of them. All this being said, it is by far not my favorite of this genre.

The shark is way too big and shown at an awkward angle. Also, his teeth are way to perfect and even. His mouth wouldn’t be open that wide until he was ready to bite her. It just seems too cartoony and exaggerated to me. Cole really didn’t do sharks well. I have another Cole crime book with a shark cover and it looks like it has a hair lip.

As I said, I really like it but there are so many others with scary, realistic shark covers out there.

It’s definitely a Shark not a whale. Unlike many comics what is happening on the cover matches a story inside. It is exaggerated in size for sure. I always thought the shark on the cover was more this type...

If you think LB Coles shark is to big don’t bother seeing the Meg...
