I finally found my sets 

I remember racing to the grocery store and peaking through the window bag so that I didn't get the same card again.

I remember buying a case of 24 or 36 of the Battlestar Galactica sets off the dealer who was set up next to me. I was convinced I'd hit a home run. I carefully secured them alongside the box of Elvis cards I bought a week or two earlier.

I remember those and also the REAL Hostess kingdons and hoho's . So good

I love the Star Wars Wonder Bread cards.  I collected them as a kid and have great memories of them.  Mine were in pretty bad shape with a lot of creases and staining.  I’ve bought multiple sets in recent years, and have a nearly complete set of PSA graded ones.  I’ve found a high quality Stormtroopers card is the hardest and most expensive to track down.  
 

I really hope CGC starts grading these and the 1977 Topps Star Wars sets eventually.
