I imagine that what you're thinking is Jim Lee-ish is actually Scott Williams's inks, since he inked a lot of Jim Lee's X-Men work.

Seems like he re-used his Amazing Spider-Man #316 rough draft.

And I managed to complete my McFarlane ASM run sooner than expected!  #299 is in the mail, and I think I'll skip #300 unless the prices drop for some reason...

Last weekend I bought an original owner run of Mcfarlane Amazing Spiderman's.  90% of the books were very nice NM copy's.  Here were a few of the standouts.

Nice pick up. Got to love that 316 cover. I recently got mine graded as part of a cgc submission and it looks great, as most McFarlane covers do!

Here's a fun story. I've been gradually picking up the few remaining keeper covers from mcfarlane for my collection and got this off ebay a little while ago-

sat on my shelf for some time before I opened the bag and discovered

my first double cover! so I bagged it up again and put it back on my shelf. some weeks go by and I decide to check the condition more closely and-

Bling! Are these a thing? I mean are double covers more associated with the mark jewelers? Not really familiar with either.

It's a heavier book with all that extra paper.
