Iron Man 1 2 2

I will starting up a sales thread for Iron Man 1 - 175 shortly and would like some opinions of the grade of issue 1

The book has a little tanning on the back cover and inside pages.

It has a few small chips on the front cover.

It has a few light spine creases that can be pressed out..

Also has edge creases on the top and bottom of the front cover.

Back cover is very nice with a very nice stamp date of Feb 15, 1968

The only problem and it is a big problem is there is a "slit" on the back cover that goes through the back cover and the last 6 pages but the slit lessens on pages 5 and 6.

The "slit" is 4"

To me it looks like the book was maybe under something that was cut with an exacto knife

This looks so much better than the grade that it ultimately deserves.

4.5 at best IMO.

It looks a lot better, but I'm going to have to with with 4.0 at best. That slit....what a shame.
