I came across them visiting the Passaic Book Center in their massive back issue boxes. Years later got the rest off eBay. I remember when these Star Trek poster books hit the stands in ‘76. I was buying them and rotating out the posters on the bedroom walls. I vividly remember putting up the Tholian Web, so you know they dug deep for content. Thanks for sharing. OtherEric
Since I finished the run, here's my Creepy 1-17. I wouldn't mind getting a better copy of #1, but it will do for now. And it was well worth the roughly $20 I paid for it... it's a horribly underrated book. Morganmi
OtherEric
If it wasn't for the sentimental value, I might want to upgrade the #6... but it's the first Warren horror book I ever owned, found in a small used bookstore back in the 90's for around $3. No other Warrens in the pile, but I did get some of the Ka-Zar Savage Tales and a few Marvel Previews... including the then worthless Marvel Preview #7 for the same $3 or so. And that one was in much better shape than the Creepy #6. Morganmi, oakman29 and chevalmeow

Popular Post OtherEric
I definitely want to upgrade the #17, and will probably track one down in the next few days since my tax returned showed up. Was still well worth the $5 I paid for it a few years ago. The original Goodwin runs on Creepy 1-17, Eerie 2-11, and Blazing Combat #1-4 are really the closest we ever got to an EC revival. It's not that there weren't a lot of excellent issues later in the runs, but these early issues are truly one of the all-time great eras of comics. I wish Goodwin had been around to contribute to the EC line; although I love the fact he did at least have a letter published in Weird Fantasy #21. Axe Elf
Ah yes, Xanadu, the film that ended Michael Beck's career, so quickly after "The Warriors" had apparently launched him into stardom. Sad on all fronts. FoggyNelson
