Ballymore3 Posted November 11, 2021 Share Posted November 11, 2021 I agree 1000%. However, CGC is instructing me to send this book back FIRST, before they even try to locate my book. I was hoping they could at least find my book first, so this would be an even exchange. I don't want to send this book in and they lose it and then all of my leverage is gone. More to follow on this predicament. I will not be renewing my membership with them, after this debacle. I have sent maybe 90 books or so to them, over the last 8 years. Andy has a Hulk 340 he got the other day in a big Copper Age collection. That’s where I got the ASM and NM. In fact I picked up almost the entire Leifeld NM run. MJIs turn up in the Dallas area because of Carswell and NAS. Folks moved in who were overseas and sell their collections. A lot of collections also in migrate from San Antonio where there were a lot more folks stationed overseas. Ive been pretty lucky finding them. I bought a collection with about 800 BA ones. Over the years I would weed them out of boxes at shops and cons. I probably still have a couple hundred. Yes I saw Andy's live feed still had some or the Facebook albums did too, I thought they were left over from the con. They ARE always buying so glad to here they're picking up new stuff. We get them in the Dayton and Cincinnati area due to Wright Pat AFB. One of the local shops just got a pretty sweet run of X-Men MJ inserts from the mid 90s to around 130. Some of the books were pretty sharp. I should have bought some of them but I'm trying to be good. Another shop had a huge run of MJ inserts on Marvel Two in One and Marvel Team Up. I snagged some of the nicer ones there. Once in a while, a bigger key like NM 98 will pop up in the area with the MJ insert.
