Are color differences considered an error and does it matter?

I have an XY Evolutions Charizard with green looking flames. It's listed on bulbapedia's error card page, but I don't know if it's considered an error for grading purposes. I also don't quite understand what submitting a card as having an error or not does. Is it to have the card graded despite the error, or is it to specifically have the card labelled as having an error?
