Grading out of order... 0

Hello! Just wondering why some cards are being graded out of order. Example below...

1 card submitted under Express - This lot was received 2 days after the 9 card lot, but is being graded first.

9 cards submitted under Express - This lot was received 2 days prior to the 1 card lot, and is not being graded yet.

 

Does this mean that the size of the lot also plays into how it moves through the grading process?

CGC Trading Cards generally handles submissions on a first-in, first-out basis within each grading tier. In select instances, some submissions may be delayed due to additional research being required or other factors.
