Here ,for your library, are a few of the best books written on his work and his life .All books are used.Offered are: “Kirby:King of Comics”by Mark Evanier (HC,9.5” x 12.5”,Fine +)This edition features inside observations by his long time assistant adding some never before told stories from his time with the “King” all assembled with stunning production values into a giant block buster of a book. These essays, when published ,would become part of comic history. “The Art of Jack Kirby” (SC 9.5 “x 13.5” Good) One of the first volumes produced on Kirby and still one of the best . Features lots of color plates and a check list and time table of his work The Jack Kirby Treasury Vol.2 (SC,8 “ x 10.5, Good ) The earlier works of Kirby are examined ,including his world with Joe Simon and the ground breaking “Challengers of the Unknown” “Hand of Fire “ by Charles Hatfield (SC ,6”x 9”, Fine +) This book contains (IMO) the most intelligent look at Kirby’s artwork over the years ever offered.
