“Keeper” has not exactly been my thing but there are a handful of books I always keep a copy of but not always the same copy. 

This is probably the only book in my collection that I would keep my exact copy of and not feel the need to upgrade. It suits my eye and I got it for a good price a few years back and it features the first appearance of my favorite character.

Great thread idea! I’m cheating here but actually have a few others I consider keepers so here is a majority. Some of these I have I had for almost a decade now which is as long as I’ve collected Gold. Some are simply too hard to replace either do to rarity or the current market pricing. I have had some rather grand offers on some of these and turned them down. The Our Flag is probably the book at the top of the keeper list. Mystery Men 30 and AA61 closely behind. I would like a second copy of AA61 but prices are to the moon right now.

Once upon a time I had a load of personal correspondence from Johnny on his own headed notepaper.

Wish I had hung onto it.

Ok, the one on the way has arrived, bringing my absolute Keeper total to 4.

I feel sheepish showing this book in the company of some of the absolutely amazing books you guys own, but it is after all my Keeper.

Low grade but attainable for me, after having sold several over the years (in better nick) on the Boards, and immediately regretting it.

I do love this book...it's going nowhere now baby!
