Cool! I didn't realize that was already OOP and getting pricey. It's crazy, they print so many books these days, in such small runs, it's impossible to stay on top of everything, and gems like this sneak through and disappear before I even realize they were there at all!

Yeah, I've seen it pop up at shows now and again for $75-100. I watched a late auction that ended after midnight and ended up winning it for $45, so I was cool with that price!

Oh man, the memories.  These were some well-loved books in my youth.  But from them I totally got my appreciation of the history of all the characters.

When I started my Marvel collecting kick 10 years ago or so, my first mission was to get copies of all the books reprinted in the Fireside books. Love those things.

As a Bat-fan, I really enjoyed Morrison's run on Batman - I'm a huge fan of the Zur-en-Arrh treatment of the character. I also love a lot of the old Golden and Silver Age stories. So I've been on the lookout for a nice copy (all of the the marks and distressed nature of the cover are done on purpose in the printing - this is a really clean copy!) of this book at a decent price, and I finally found it!

I like the Zur-en-Arrh Batman so much I tracked this down a few months ago - still on the hunt for an affordable Batman 113 though:
