So @G G ® ™ and @oakman29 This was the book in question.  This was at a low point in Ditko's life when Jim Shooter claims to have been giving him work at Valiant just to honor the old guard and to help Ditko pay the bills.  Ditko did in fact sign a limited number of copies of this book.   However Aliens may have made it so that there were more than the official number of limited copies out there in circulation.   Of course, CBCS will 'verify' this book.

I really don't know. I guarantee if I met him I could get a handle on him, but that's not gonna happen.

I've just got a sneaking suspicion he is loving and lapping up all this attention, despite it not being positive.

In past Dylan fiascos, I would occasionally post that I was hoping he would take a step back, reevaluate his tactics, and become an asset to the hobby.

Sadly, his behavior pattern keeps getting worse, and he’s starting to remind me of someone I once knew who wound up doing several months in federal prison.

I get the impression that he thrives on this kind of chaos, yes.

Of course, what he doesn't seem to understand yet, is that it will burn him down one day.

Treat people with respect , and you get respect back. Especially when you are dealing with the kind of sales and money changing hands, from other board members. Always been my motto.

I contacted Polonsky to find out more information about this.

Polonsky does not actually know how Dylan got his fathers phone number.  He said he has met Dylan at shows, and Dylan knows he works alone on the comics as his dad knows nothing about them.  He does not remember ever giving Dylan a business card....which are not comic related anyway.  The cards are for their Rare Coin and Medal business.  He said Dylan may have also tracked down their coin website and found the number there.....but he honestly doesn't know.

Either way, Dylan only started calling Polonsky's father after Polonsky told him to cease all attempts at communication.  So, I'm going to let the nomination post stand as it is.

There is no reason to give this "Kid" a pass for being a 20 something year old.  He's old enough to know good from bad and right from wrong, we aren't dealing with a child.

This is only looking at one of Dylan's issues not to mention:
-Intentionally gaming the cgc character labels to get blue labelled restored books, selling them on ebay and not disclosing them as restored.

-Intentionally over grading his books on ebay as an experiment to see if he'd get returns (admitted this in one of his other threads)

-Not disclosing books as restored because "trimming isn't restoration as nothing was added to the book"

-threats to business's and "destruction" of said business (I mean the fact that he's still allowed on the boards and hasn't been banned by CGC directly is shocking).  I wonder how his lawsuit against CGC is going.

I'm sure there are more but it's late and I'm going to bed and sure that others will pop up come the morning.

Thank you for clarifying. I thought it was a comic business card with the dad’s number.
