My math would say 10 + 10 + 10 + 8.5 = 38.5/4 = 9.625. Seems like a 9.5 to me? Perhaps centering is weighted higher than other subs?

CGC will only bump up .5 of the lowest grade. They don't go by finding the average..

Also if the two lowest grades match, that's the grade no matter what. So a card with sub grades 10 5.5 5.5 10 will be a 5.5.

I'm not sure where to place this question. I made two submissions:

- 1x CGC registered on 5/1/21 (economy + subs, bulk of 20 cards)

- 1x CGC registered on 8/1/21 (economy + subs, bulk of 80 cards)

When approximately can I expect the return?

You should have received both of these by now... Economy has like a 10-15 day turn around now.

Yes. Just read back through the last 2 pages of this thread. Multiple people have posted economy info. As CGC always says, turn around times are always a wild guess.

I heard that if you have one of the metal Pokemon cards it will delay your order because there is a shortage of the slabs designed for those cards.

My 50 card bulk 8/26/21 also went into QC/Finalized today and then too grading/QC 30 mins later...

Got back my Bulk received 08/13 recently and got my first 10 (modern hyper rare) and got four 9.5's on early EX era reverse holos (english). Lot's of cards they've give 8.5's on got 9's too.

I think CGC finally listened to us and realized their grading scale is literally their biggest competition and are grading a little easier (hopefully). I still think they need to start giving 10's on vintage holos to really get a lot of us submitting again, but if this return is indicative of a change in the grading room it's definitely a move in the right direction.

Received package 2/26/22. Only disappointment was they refused to grade the metal Pikachu card because it was in the first stages of chipping on an edge.

8/30/21 Bulk went into Grading/Quality Control today after months of being in Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging. Hopefully, it will be finished in the next few days.
