Oh ok that makes more sense than being in place of. But yes cash grab, which I won’t pay for but never really bothers me with a former star who is now struggling for work but an A-lister who is not at all struggling for more work… I don’t know, that just seems like a bit much but I guess if people are willing to pay it.

you forgot the "likenesses" portion, and I would assume it's due to his eyes

He might not be able to "capture likeness" any more is my guess.....

One would assume he'd still do those characters, but then if he chose Captain America, people would be like, he won't draw Captain America? instead of Chris Evans lol

THey should have named the actors and actresses names to be more specific

It's not his eyes, it's legal. You can't earn money off of someone's likeness without their consent.

My Sienkiewicz books just hit CCS, so I'm guessing the signing took place this week. Hope they release photos or video.

Not sure about that.  My submissions for other signings (Simonson and Jim Lee) did the same for status and the Lee submission is still open for sending in.

It sounds like they press first and then sign after. Thought it was other way around.

I've been told they press after, otherwise why allow 8 weeks after the signing to account for pressing in the tat?

My only guess I'd that ccs is the part of the building that the signing takes place and books are held :tink:

They always press after the signing, never before. They might just be hold a spot open since these get expedited.
