not sure how to describe what i see on the front covers of my bronze age xmen 100's. there is some color blotches where the color is faded. not sure if this is from the printing machine where a book stacked on top wiped or rubbed the color or was this from pressing. its smooth to the touch. feels like the rest of the cover. my ultimate questions are what is this anomaly called? ways this could have been created? and how would this impact grading?  I already asked cgc and they told me i need to submit so they can grade it but if the grade is going to be lower for this i would just prefer to sell raw.

Black blankets are dirty and they piling, they need to be cleaned but the press operator running the press doesn't wanna shut the press down cause then he'll have to do work and the press may not get up and running right after a shutdown, The idea is to print as much as you can with as little waste and downtime as possible.
