Unrestored, some spine roll, small piece out at the bottom, some creases on bottom right corner. What grade would you give? Thanks.

 

On another note, I scanned both the front & back cover the exact same way. Why would one scan come out larger then the other? Any tips?

hey Durden nice book, classic cover, I haven't got a Supes #17 yet, so I'm jealous, as for grade I would say 4.0/4.5 it's much nicer than some CGC 3.5s I've seen, so I think 4.0/4.5 is where it would grade out at.. the pages look pretty white, do you plan on submitting it ?

Thanks guys for grading. I usually don't like books with spine roll, but to find a nicer copy of this book would cost a little too much for my budget. I have been thinking about submitting the book to cgc - maybe sometime soon.

Something about the books structural integrity made me drop it out of the 4 range. It just doesn't seem solid...I'll stand by my 3/3.5 on the racist Supes cover.

That tear above the top staple calls the covers structural integrity into question.

I would grade it a 4.0 (although I will agree - it's a 4.0 closer to a 3.5 than a 4.5 - 3.8?)- My favorite GA Superman cover !

Thanks to everyone for your opinions. I was thinking 3.5 - 4.0 too as did most everyone else.
