bapowell
Hi all, please have a look. I’d appreciate people’s thoughts on the effect of the stamp. I obtained this comic from a neighbor who claims it is originally from John Buscema, who gave this guy’s sister a bunch of free comics with this stamp on it. Regardless of its origins, I really have no idea how to factor in its effect on the grade. Thanks! Galen130

grendelbo
7.5/8.0 The biggest concern is what looks like an impacted corner which flaws both sides of the cover. Thanks for letting us see and participate!

Galen130
8.0. I wouldn't worry about the stamp, unusual though it may be. It will have a negligible impact, if any. Once you have it slabbed, you can't sell it!!!
comicginger1789
7.5 And the story kind of checks out based on the stamp. From what I know, they sometimes would give comics to artists, writers, staffers, etc and were stamped as such so they could not sell them for profit. Maybe John (who to my knowledge had nothing to do with this series at the time) admired it and wanted a copy.
