I'm back like cooked... food. Let's go with food.

The rules are pretty basic - no probies or HOS!

SHIPPING POLICY - shipping is $8 for up to 4 books within the U.S., an additional $8 will be charged within the US for shipping more than 4 book and shipping will be capped at $16 within the US. Overseas and Canada I will charge you exact weight for shipping Priority. Shipping a slab will be $15. If you order a mix of slabs and raws I'll keep shipping capped at $16 but I will be taking that extra $1

As of now the plan is to ship slabs and raws separately so I will be eating some of the cost in that instance but that's okay, I like y'all. Some of y'all at least.

PAYMENT POLICY - Paypal invoice only. I will pay seller's fees.

No returns, so please ask any questions you need before purchase. Exceptions of course include items that arrive damaged or broken but I am going to package these very, very safely so I doubt there will be issues there.

I feel very strongly that Felicia Hardy is coming to the big screen. Baseless speculation alert. But why else would Marvel be publishing so much Black Cat solo stuff? I mean, yes, the series is actually a very fun read and I like it but I doubt it's selling that well. Just had a bunch of annuals across their more popular series leading up to the new Black Cat story arc hmmm... Start reading it if you haven't... the Infinity Gauntlet story that started in Black Cat #8, which released today, is promising so far. Get hip!

Anyway

Amazing Spider-Man #194 - 1st Black Cat - Newsstand - CGC 7.5 WP - SOLD

That's reportedly why Ditko left. He wanted to develop the character through his life stages. He would be Peter Parker, retiree by now.

I always heard the really big fight was over revealing the Green Goblin's identity. Ditko wanted him to be forever mysterious, like Spider-Man's version of the Joker. Stan had other plans. And as soon as Ditko was off the book Stan revealed the Goblin's identity right away. Literally the very next arc. The history between those two is... pretty interesting...

Usually when the two disagreed, Ditko got his way because Stan was working on too many books to really keep a close eye on ASM. Like Vulture was supposed to be a fat guy but Ditko thought that was dumb so we got skinny old Vulture. Stan took his fat flying mobster idea to another artist and we got the Owl in Daredevil. I need to find a good Ditko biography - anyone know one?

Moving away from baseless speculation... kinda...

America Chavez has been confirmed as being in the Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness movie. She'll be played by Xochitl Gomez who I think is like 15? So, a young actress that could be part of the MCU for many years to come... how big will America's role be in the Doctor Strange movie? Who knows. But she is a reality warper whose power set includes the ability to access... the multiverse. I think she'll probably have a fairly sizable role in the movie but who knows. Do think she'll have a role in several Marvel projects after Doctor Strange but I could be wrong.

America #1 - CGC 9.8 WP - 1st solo America Chavez comic

I can't lie to y'all I love baseless speculation in my heart of hearts

Something is Killing the Children has been a phenomenon in the realm of indie books. Truthfully, I haven't been reading this one so I don't know how much is just hype and how much is merited - should I go back and read this? I have the whole series...

If this ever DOES get adapted or end up on TV... what image do you think is more likely to be part of the promotional materials? The boring cover A or this striking image that already looks like a movie poster?

This series I can vouch for. Stray Dogs has been my very favorite limited series of the year. This is the 'MISSING' variant set, limited to 500 sets, each is signed by the author. Comes with COA. This series was optioned by Paramount before it dropped and they may actually do something with it given how popular it became by the time it ended. It would certainly take well to a small screen, episodic format IMO.

Issue 1 unfortunately does have 2 color breaking spine ticks. Book is unread, just landed that way.

$350 for the set considering, well under the going rate FYI

I've been a busy bee sorting through all of my SA ASM duplicates and I'll be scanning them tonight so those will all be posted tomorrow. Found some sub 30 issues that I didn't remember having extra copies of. Plus I knew better than to battle the great @Azkaban tonight

See you fine folks tomorrow!
