Famous Monsters complete collection Heritage auction # 122133 0

Hello all: FYI: Heritage auctions has my complete uncertified high grade Famous Monsters magazine collection in their 8-16-21 auction #122133 lot #15947. The first 30 issues include Richard Conway, James Warren and Forry Ackerman personal file copies.  Obtained the Conway and Warren copies in 1968 while visiting the Warren NYC offices.The #4 Forry copy with ghoul’s eye sticker was a trade we made in 1969. Thanks for your time in reading this—-Dave

Unicorn! Mail order back in the day and I would say one of the most important books in monster make-up history. Smith was a legend and this is his gift to monster kids!

I actually tried some of the makeups in this book as a kid. The glue and cotton effect worked pretty good for scars!
