..but the biggest change has been the gradual acquisition over three successive lockdowns of a collection of books on Fine Art, which did more than anything else to keep me reasonably sane

It would appear you are keeping your local Ikea or a local carpenter in clover! Great collection of books!

I'll post more tomorrow with a bit more detail... And meant to say sooner,really enjoyed seeing everyone's shelves -so much great stuff, much of which is unfamiliar to me. (Wish BZ was still posting though -this thread would be perfect for him!)

While America sleeps... I have so many bookcases I missed a few yesterday. These are history and mythology.[Used to have a lot more but traded up lots of Folio Society books that had appreciated somewhat in value for some expensive art books very recently.]

..but the real treasure for me is the Pulp Cover gallery set by Girasol - I wish they'd done more!

I had over 200 masterworks recently - until I discovered that the later Bronze Age editions now go for money [strangely] - so they got traded too. But I still have the majority, which include the Golden and Atomic Age titles, as well as the Silver Age.

Discovering new works is the real pleasure though. Here is a shelf of European masters, followed by some examples. [Interiors pulled from the internet.]
