Is this a bindery defect? 1 1

Saw this in one of my Sub-mariner issues and wondered if it's considered a bindery defect?  Does it affect grade?

Anybody know what the bodybuilding secret was in the ad?

It looks to me like this would fit the corner perfectly if carefully unfolded. If it turns out to extend beyond the edges of the comic when unfolded, then it would be a bindery 'defect' (is not really a defect.) But I think you just have a regular creased/folded corner.

Im guessing the bodybuilding secret was a powdered protein shake of some kind.

Agreed.  This leaf has a pair of handling-related creases.  The paper appears fresh and supple.  If it was my book, I'd unfold the dog-ear before slipping the book back into its sleeve.

Interior fold/crease. Minor defect and would likely on effect a copy in a high grade range.
