Postage is $4 in the US Unlimited

Postage to Canada is $6 for every 4 books

Postage overseas is $18 every 4 books.

Little story about the collection before I start listing.  Contacted by a guy with 300 60s books mostly Marvel he says.  I ask him about titles and he has Spiderman and Avengers and more.  All good.  He then sends me pictures of ASM 4, Daredevil 1 Avengers 8 and 57 among others.  His asking price was really low (but still in the 1000s) so I'm pretty fired up. 

I show up to a very nice house where he and his wife have them laid out in the sitting room.  As I go through them I do notice they are really nice with nice pages.  I also notice that the Xmen pile is only about 4 books.  But the Spiderman pile is decent, about 20.  I also notice that there is no Spiderman 4 or Daredevil 1.  When I ask, he mentions that he had already sold then a while ago.  My first comic book thought balloon was "why did you send me the pictures then?"  But that's fine, I'll deal with what's in front of me and that his asking price is now more in line with a good deal but not a great one.  So I haggle down a bit and bought them all.  There were also about 100 coverless (and a dozen stripped) copies. 

He had sold books to someone or multiple someones else. And the big books were gone, but not all the big books.  FF 48 49 50 66 67 Thor 165 ASM 4 41 31 50 all missing.  FF 52 Surfer 1 ASM 46 Hulk 102 were coverless. I found it strange that whoever bought the bigger keys didn't pick up the rest of them too.  Even a year or so ago, a 9.0 12 cent Avengers or Spiderman was a $50-$100 book. 

Mostly the mid 60s were VG type but the 1966 -1968 are much higher grade.  So this will be a fun little sale.  It could have been way better but I'm just glad I was able to get the "leftovers"  Keys are Thor 133-135, ASM 18-20 28 43 39 40 66 and aren't all Spiderman keys? Avengers 10 19 28 47 49 55 FF 64 65 DD 16 Strange Tales 163 Suspense 97 and a few more.  Plus the coverless books aren't too shabby.

No, Red Rose, like Lancaster.  York is the White Rose, Lancaster is Red Rose.  Named after the England cities of "War of the Roses" fame.

Or tea.  It'd have been called the Sleepy Time collection if it smelled like tea.
