Hi, thinking of submitting some comics foe the first time and I'm trying to decide what's worth grading due to my inexperience with conditions.

This book has a few flaws.  The S on the cover has a small indentation where a bit of food was stuck.  The hole doesn't go through the cover but if you run your finger over it, you can feel it.  Inside cover has a tiny bit of a bump, first page isn't affected.  Top right has a book deep bend, and a tiny chip missing from the cover.  Back cover top right is missing 2 larger chunks.

I can't see this copy grading higher than 3.0 GD/VG due to its structural defects and heavy back cover staining.

I'd recommend against including this book in your first submission.  Even though #26 is the first issue of the title run, Spy Cases is not a widely collected title.  And, the cost of certification (including the grading fee, shipping, return shipping, and insurance) will be about as much as the market value of the raw book -- which I estimate to be around $60.  Look for a more valuable specimen, or a book that will increase in value as a result of CGC certification.

Not that it matters, but your back cover photo (reproduced below) suggests that this area was once "stuck" to the book below it.  The missing paper defect probably occurred when the two books were separated.  For me, the tell is not the holes, but the rough paper surrounding the holes.  The area is rough because the top layer of paper and surface coating have been removed.  It's similar to what happens when you erase too aggressively with a standard pencil tip eraser.

Looking at it now, you're right!  That would make sense, a explain the bend.  Thanks for the estimate, I think I'll skip grading this one.
