Working on another .5 casualty, this one with terrible staining (looks like oil or grease), detached and crumbing cover and insect chew through the interior. Posting it here rather than start another thread, since I realize this isn’t exactly what the restoration forum is intended for (some people seemed genuinely interested in the SC 60 restoration, so I figured what the heck, have some fun). Leaf-casted the cover and filled insect holes, and now working on in-painting, which is a major challenge with this one, since the original color was washed out of much of the cover. Got some staining out, but stopped the process for fear of ruining what’s left of the book…
