Wow, that's terrible.  Sorry to hear about that.  Did you check the progress to see where it was last seen?  Was it perhaps delivered to wrong address?  Reminds me of story I had with attempted delivery of Dell Laptop I ordered.  It made it to local warehouse and made its way onto truck and then poof....disappeared right after.  That too I believe was an employee stole it.
