You can tell that that kit was rushed in terms of its sculpt.  I guess that they were trying to make sure that they got it out quickly in order to take advantage of "Batmania".  Compare it with the "Robin" which is incredibly detailed and well sculpted - one of Aurora's best.

Big auction today, ton of tin toys and happily several sealed Aurora model kits.  Only one I didn’t have and three I won.  I got another Creature from the Black Lagoon kit sealed for about 1/4 what I paid before.  No idea why prices were so low but they were but I figured I would take advantage of it.

I had the repro of most of these, never got around to building any of them. I need to grab that recent re-pop of the Godzilla Go-Kart, it looks fantastic.
